I don’t desire it.
But when it comes I quite admire it.
Because for some perplexing reason the darkness gives me hope.
The darkness gives me…
meaning.
The despair is more than gut wrenching.
Pain swells in all cells and…
My mind is an endless void.
Consuming all possible outcomes,
the sadness at times I quite enjoy it.
It’s hard to understand why some try to avoid it.
Without sadness…
there could be no existence of everlasting joy.
Because, when you’ve been through the sadness
There’s only one option left to employ.
Find the love within yourself and you will have everlasting
joy.
So when you read my sadness don’t you dare frown.
Let me bathe in it.
just don’t let me drown.
