Time Management Isn’t About Managing Time

Posted by

Time management has got to be the most sought out attribute for many on the journey towards success. We have all read the books by Kevin Kruse, John C. Maxwell and the likes; the books that talk about how successful leaders and people manage their time to achieve maximum results.
However, what many people fail to recognize is that the management of time doesn’t involve the management of time, exactly, it more relates to the management of focus. We think, though, that the title focus management wouldn’t be as attractive to the masses, that is how time management has been used as the misnomer. That is why people confuse it with having to focus on their calendar and to do lists rather than the goals they desire to achieve.
Mark Fritz talks about it in detail in his book, lead and influence.
