Reflections Of An Escape

Staring at my reflection.

I am ejected.
Grey ribbons embrace me like a loved one,
Kiss me softly.

Kiss me passionately,
my mind echoes,
and words just fill the room.

Writing fragments
until I’m encased
in my dream state tomb.

Release me from my own afflictions,
I cannot escape.
Forgive me for being in my drunken state.

I hate this fate,
I hate these pearly gates.
I would do anything to kiss my lovers face…
